My first thought is Lars Ulrich.

Meatloaf, sadly - I'm a huge fan of his (only the Steinman albums though, the rest I don't consider to be real meatloaf), and Bat Out of Hell has huge nostalgic meaning to me. Now ol' meat is releasing music that is so far removed from his classic stuff, it's saddening - And he just can't pull it off live anymore.

I have no issue with his non Jim Steinmen material but I have to agree with you, live he can't pull it off anymore.

Peter Criss Thought he was the bomb back in the day. His solo on Alive! is outstanding, but all of his solo output has been mediocre at best IMO.

This. Queensryche should just get a new singer, or break up. Geoff has ruined the band.

Lars is a good pick.
Geoff Tate is doing better than Lars these days I think, but yeah.

Lars is the best choice for this. He just totally gave up and doesn't care how he plays. Maybe those older albums weren't even him lol

He;s lost it - all those years of drugs are wearing him down in his old age.
Paul Di'Anno is another one that has lost it - well, he's lost his mind! He is crazy! But, his shows are fun, especially when he starts some crazy rant. That is after he hobbles up to the stage with his cane and starts the show!
And yes, he literally uses a cane to walk around. He leaves it at the side stage for his shows

Paul D'ianno because the guy has an excellent voice, even put together a decent band in the 80's Paul D'ianno's Battlezone, and has spent most of that time since then paying tribute to his short career with Iron Maiden, I wish he had done a lot less drugs and gotten some good management.
