| Obscure THRASH albums that you like as much as the more popular thrash albums.
I really like The Moshketeers - Downward Spiral. Have loved it since it was released two decades ago. What are some Obscure THRASH albums that you like as much as the more popular thrash albums?

I guess obscure is a relative word, but what I meant was, most people pick albums from bands like Slayer, Kreator, Metallica, Megadeth, Anthrax, Destruction, Overkill, Tetament, etc. as their top favorite thrash albums. I suppose it's anything outside those universally well known bands.
I've never even heard Dorsal Atlantica's Antes do Fim & Dividir & Conquistar, so I'll have to check that out. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

Almost all of these albums are in my top 100 favorite thrash albums of all-time, and I listed the stuff in a relatively accurate order. |

| Nice list Nico. Some good ones in there.
Another one I thought of is: SACRAMENT - Testimony of Apocalypse Might be somewhat well known on this board, but generally pretty obscure. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

I don't think I'd call Artillery "obscure". They're a second-tier band, pretty much. Likely because they are one of the most distinctive, original sounding thrash bands. |

| I find it hard to define "obscure" Thrash. Most of the mentioned albums would not fit in my definition, cause they're not that obscure to me. Here's one that I would consider to be obscure: |

| I believe thrash fans are some of the most dedicated in seeking out "obscure" stuff. I personally will buy just about anything if it falls under the thrash label.
Some I love
Hatrix - collisioncoursewithnoplace Andralls - s/t Dread - Brace For Destruction Neurotoxin - Harvest Your Wrath Warbeast - Krush The Enemy Thornclad - Coronation Of The Wicked Repent - Disciple Of Decline
Overthrow - Within Suffering
One of my favorite thrash albums. |

| not sure if 'obscure' is the right term but some that rarely get mentioned--and that I really love: --atrophy (both cds) --demolition hammer (esp.the 1st two) --dissarray (the two I have are really good "sludgey thrash') |

I wouldn't quite call that one obscure (it was released on Combat, which was pretty much the thrash oriented record label in the late 1980s/early 1990s), but it's definitely underrated. Completely awesome album! Definitely one of the best thrash albums of the 1990s. |

| Not as "obscure" as some of the lists already posted, that would be difficult considering the number of professional 'heads on this site. All I can say is that 99% of the population of North & South Carolina have never heard of these. Then again, that ain't saying much.
