Since most of my finds are recommendations from this forum, I don't get that "obscure" either, but one that seems to go by largely unknown is Virus and their album Lunacy.

These guys were a "blind buy" a coupla years ago at a used shop. The cover looked cool and the back photo was some long-haired heshers, so I grabbed it. The production of the album is horrible (you gotta crank the volume), but it's pretty good Bay-inspired, Nuclear Assult-like British thrash.

I think they have one or 2 other older albums out, but I've never seen/heard them.

I own Force Recon (that was their second album, right?) on tape and I like it. I agree that they do sound a lot like Nuclear Assault.

Fatal Force - the band I used to road crew for on occasion. Demo produced by Shannon Larkin.

Thresher - Here I Am

Ultimatum - Puppets of Destruction.

I don't know if Ultimatum qualifies as obscure, but no one that I know of personally knows who they are. Who cares tho, its a fantastic album.

Right on. Like all these as well. I'm not sure which I like better though, Thresher - Here I Am or Totally Possessed. I'd probably go with the later as it a classic from golden days of thrash.

Glad you like Puppet. Do you have the remastered version? It's so far superior to the original Rowe version.

I have the remastered version of this album digitally, I am still waiting for it from dmd along with Mechanics of Perilous Times and Into the Pit.
