| The legend himself. Can't believe it's been a decade already. I heard the track Flattening of Emotions from Human when I was about 12 years old. Death, along with Nile, introduced me to death metal and changed my life forever.

Yeah, he was 56 when he died. Cancer was the cause. It was diagnosed in September and he passed away 3 months later. A death is a terrible thing to deal with,doubly so around the holidays. I'm okay with it more or less now but my poor mom has not been the same since.

I can sympathize, I lost my own father a few years ago and it also was during the holiday season. Definitely makes it harder when such a terrible thing happens around this time of the year |
