| First cd purchases of the year are starting to trickle in. Good thing too. I was going into withdraw.

I should thank / blame Eyesore for those. He posted some samples in the "is grunge metal" thread and I liked what I heard. Got them cheap too before the Metal Evolution grunge episode aired and the prices on Amazon jumped.
Good stuff. Really reminds me of AiC, which is a good thing in my opinion. _________________ A legend in posting since February 1st, 2007

Good record. I saw them in Seattle a couple times (they were one of the few bands still playing local shows, all the big name groups were out touring the planet).

Yea, it just showed up this morning. I'm playing it now. Very good stuff. I never ventured too deep into the grunge genre, mainly just the big ones (AiC, STP and Soundgarden, never liked Pearl Jam). Maybe a handful of others. Some good stuff if you dig around.
It can be had for cheap too. I spent more on shipping than I did on both Sister's Machine & Gruntruck discs. All 3 of those discs cost me roughly $5 and it cost me $9 to ship 'em. _________________ A legend in posting since February 1st, 2007

| The two Gruntruck full-lengths are a few of the lost gems of that era. They put out a pretty solid EP in the mid-90s, too. Few knew that even came out. _________________ "Happy people have no stories" —Therapy? Shock Totem | The Eyesore Times | Getcha Rocks Off |

I only got Push for now since this was a somewhat blind purchase. Inside Yours must be a little more rare and therefor pricier. $.73 cents vs. $9 something. The choice was obvious. I'll be on the lookout for that and the ep now though. _________________ A legend in posting since February 1st, 2007

As far as I know, the singer/guitar player for MSM was the original guitar player in Alice N Chains and was on the first couple of demos 87, maybe the 89 one. |

Nice! Ordered!
Hopefully it's not a CDR, like the last Erik Norlander album. =(_________________ "Happy people have no stories" —Therapy? Shock Totem | The Eyesore Times | Getcha Rocks Off |

| Went to a record show earlier and snagged these on vinyl:
Fates Warning - Night On Brocken (original witch cover) Hexx - Under The Spell
Found these on cd: Apocrypha - The Eyes Of Time Babylon A.D. - S/T V/A - Holy Dio (2 disc version)
Went to Manifest Records after the record show and picked up these: Lamb Of God - Resolution Ram - Death |
