Cry Of Love - Peace Pipe (CD Single w/Non-LP Tracks)
In Element - Act Of Stamina: Twelve Fragments Of Strength And Calm Before The Storm

So that Cry of Love single is sweet. It's got a unreleased track I'd never heard before called "Deathbed." The other non-LP track is "Shade Tree," which is on another single; but this one is listed as "acoustic version," which suggests there is another version of this song that's more rockin'. The other I have is the same as this one.

I wonder how many unreleased songs there are from that era of the band. I have "Shade Tree," different versions of "Bad Thing" and "Peace Pipe," a cover of "I Ain't Superstitious," an acoustic version of "Too Cold In The Winter," and now "Deathbed."

I have another single on the way to me that has some live tracks and may contain a different version of "Bad Thing," but I'm assuming it's the same alternate version I already have.

Don't get me wrong, I like that album well enough but it got seriously overplayed back in the day whereas Hornsby's later output hardly ever made the radio.

I've wanted them for awhile now, but couldn't find them for a decent price. Finally, I got them for $6 each on Amazon using a gift card. Classic new-wob-em. Neat-o. And let's not forget boobies. Big, beautiful boobies.

I love that Headcat album too. Although Lemmy could release a recording of himself reading the take-out menu from the Rainbow and I'd buy it.
