Erik Rosvold or Fred Marshall? Eric seems to be the fan favorite, and he's the dude singing on the Cynthesis album. Fred only sings on A Fragile Mind. And then Chris Salinas, the Power of Omens vocalist, sang on the last two albums.
I guess there was another singer on their first demo, but no one has ever heard it. The band says it was a lame demo anyway. Haha.
I'm still confused about what's going on with them. Zero Hour is apparently either no more or on hiatus due to Troy and Jasun not being able to write together. This all due to Troy's nerve damage. Yet he's on the Cynthesis album and the Abnormal Thought Patterns EP...and it sure as hell doesn't sound like he's slowed down at all.
Kind of confusing, actually. Maybe I should ask the band. |
Erik. Yea I'm not sure whats with them either. I read about Troy getting Surgery and then they were going to work on new Zero Hour. I think they are still an active band. The last album was only put out in 2008 so its not that long ago._________________ |

Jasun has made comments before which makes me think Zero Hour was more of a collaborative effort, where they'd get into a room and just tear it up for hours, and that's how they made an album. I don't think Troy can do that anymore, so they decided to create new music individually, you know.
It's some weird "respect for the band" type of thing. Of course, Cynthesis sounds a hell of a lot like Zero Hour! _________________ "Happy people have no stories" —Therapy? Shock Totem | The Eyesore Times | Getcha Rocks Off |

I'd heard mixed reviews, but I really like it. I'd say the re-working of "Beth" is better than the original |

| In Flames - Lunar Strain In Flames - Subterranean
Both are the 2005 Regain re-issues and come with bonus tracks. Subterranean is officially considered an EP, but I have always considered it as an album or as an addition to Lunar Strain (at one time both were packaged together). |

What do you think of the Dogbane cd? |
I am pleasantly surprised by this disc. Has a very strong late 70's vibe to it. The songs are very good and the playing is top notch. I would say that the emphasis is more on the heavy than the metal, but there is tons of both. |

I asked because the drummer is a good friend of mine. They're gearing up for some live shows soon. |
