| I kind of agree about Priest's Demolition, though it's a bit hard to compare it to something like, say, Rocka Rolla.
Anyway for Queensryche it's got to be Hear in the Now Frontier. |

| I find it interesting Unnatural Selection has already been mentioned multiple times. I actually enjoy that one and consider High or what I've heard of Drift to be worse. |

i've heard a few people say that. i just think Labrie's voice fits their sound better. |
That is true. Dominici's voice was not a good fit for DT back then (IMO he sounded too much like a Geddy Lee clone). He does sound a lot better these days though. However, James is one of my top 10 singers and I wouldn't want anyone else fronting DT. |

| I just prefer the style they were playing on that record; closer to US prog/power. Most of the negative things I've read about it have to do with the vocals rather than the actual music. A good comparison would be Kamelot's debut (Eternity), which was another album I thought would have been considered "classic" had it not been for the singer. |

Didn't like Octavarium a whole lot myself accept for a few songs, I'd rank it low along with Systematic Chaos and Six Degrees Of Inner Turbulence (of course anything after the great Scenes From A Memory was bound to be dissapointing to me). |

| Queensryche - Dedicated Chaos. After American Soldier, which I happened to like, they decided to release this!? Judas Priest - Hell Bent  Haven't heard Ripper albums and Nostradamus (yes, bad fan), so can't comment on those. But from the classics era, HBFL is the only album I don't remember songs from, except for a couple of tunes. Never liked this one. Dream Theater - anything post I&W. Honestly, I find I&W also meh, and only WD&DU catches my attention. Didn't get into this band. Fates Warning - Night on Brocken. This band has no bad albums, they are perfect!!1 So Night is not a bad album, but being a debut it's quite simple and Fates haven't found their sound yet. And Inside Out is great, stop dissing it  |

| Based on what I've heard of their catalogs:
Queensr˙che: Hear in the Now Frontier (only heard Q2K once, haven't heard anything after that)
Judas Priest: Ram It Down (haven't heard anything after Painkiller)
Dream Theater: Falling Into Infinity (haven't heard the latest yet)
Anthrax: Stomp 442 (haven't heard anything after this or State of Euphoria)
None of the four Fates Warning albums I've heard stands out in a way that says "Worst of the lot," and I haven't heard enough by Flotsam and Jetsam or Death Angel to judge (1 album by the former, none by the latter). |
