Here's a link to the collection I just picked up. Finished cataloging them in Excel and uploaded it to my blog. Most of it I've never heard of! Everything from prog rock to thrash. I'm a NWOBHM buff and some of the stuff in here even got me beat! I know a lot of this is good stuff, but I'd love some input from the community.

If you're in the DC/Baltimore/VA area and want to trade some stuff or just come by and check them out, let me know!

Good Lord, that's an amazing collection. He had most of the seminal NWOBHM full album releases. I would kill for that Priest stuff as I only have about half of it and I am a Priest fanatic. I can't believe all the Quartz releases! Those are amazing, long forgotten albums. That Maiden Live +1 is superb. Also - Highway Child is actually Highway Chile - and they are awesome as well. Little to no crap here at all and most of it is rare or at least desirable. That Griffin album is a rarity as is the Jag Panzer. Not to mention Uli Jon Roth! Crazy!

If I only had that collection to listen to for the rest of my life, I would be happy.

Andy, are you a vinylphile at all?

To give you an idea:

Jag Panzer - Tyrants - goes for somewhere between $40-$80.

Griffin - Protectors of the Lair - $45-50

A ton of killer NWOBHM!!!!

Excellent collection!!!!!! Congrats!!!!! If you don't have a Turntable, I suggest you get one now and enjoy these albums.

Incredible haul! Now if I could just find someone willing to part with a jazz or prog-rock collection of that size I'd be a happy camper.

See you have two copies of Welcome to Hell. Any chance you might trade one? I have a few vinyls for trade.

I just checked the box - that's an error. I actually have two copies of Black Metal. Thanks for pointing that out!

That is the haul of a lifetime. Have fun listening to it all. Hope you have a nice set-up for it. Or at least have something in mind to buy if you start selling any of it. There is a ton there that not only would sell, but sell at a big price. I guarantee the rest of us will now be checking up on graig's list from now on hoping.

I noticed you said Dunkirk - are you from Calvert County?

Yes. I go to school at Towson University and have an apartment up here, but I'm originally from Chesapeake Beach in good ol' Calvert County.

What he said!

I used to collect vinyl, and while I used to own many of those LP's, there's still tons there that anyone would kill for!

I forget which show it was, either Pawn Stars or maybe Storage Wars, where someone brought in one of those to be apraised. They were made back in the '40s I think.
