Me. I've got several different beers chilliing in the fridge. Among them: two bottles of Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout and a bottle of Schlafly's Christmas Ale.

Where on earth do you find these treasures? I was trying to send u a link, but I forgot I'm not allowed until my 7 days are up as a newbie. Its a site call ratebeer, and I found the Drangons Milk on it and was drooling at the review.

Yeah, I check RateBeer and BeerAdvocate for reviews.

I find beers two ways, 1) by brewery - I've learned what breweries I can trust for styles I like and 2) by style - anything described on the label with the word "dark" means I'll probably like it. And "dark" + "aged in oak barrels" on the Dragon's Milk label made me take a gamble on a 4 pack. It's pricey ($15 for a 4 pack) but if you let it age several months, it mellows out to a nectar of the gods.

Toho, are you familiar with Untappd.com? It's an awesome way to let people know what you're drinking and where (whether it be at a local drinking establishment or your home). Then you add friends to see if they're indeed raging alcoholics lol! . My brother is a beer snob to the hilt, but I know I've mentioned that before on one of the threads. I guess it's just another way for the two of his to connect since we live a couple hundred miles away from each other.

URGGGGGGGGG! I was trying to post a picture of Fullers ales, my late father in law introduced me to, but the site software must have picked it up as a link. I can't post links for 7 days as a newbie.

Anyhoo, my father in law's tipple was London Pride, I hated it. He swore by Fullers brewry all his 89 years - he was a vet of the Normandy landings with the British army, and loved his beer. He'd have loved this thread. He loved his ales, and Fullers was his favourite, but he'd stray, no problem to old dad, he'd neck the Guinness when he was over with us and the Smithwicks ale. He loved his beer, a real old working class south London gent.

Tohostudios, you'd have had some conversations with him, God he knew his beers inside out.

Prefer Guinness, but had a few Fullers when I was in England last year (saw Maiden there 5 times.... good times!).... You'll get a laugh out this - was talking to a guy from Northern Ireland and telling him my sister in law was from Donegal just outside of Derry.... he kept trying to tell me it was called Londonderry... until another Irish guy jumped in to help me out! (yes, I know the history behind the name)
