PostSubject: Faust band from Yugoslavia   Thu Jan 31, 2013 1:35 pm

Band Faust is formed in June 1990 (not to be mistaken with krautrock veterans Faust from Germany. Years passed before band realised about this)
Style can be described as a classic traditional hard rock/heavy metal headbanger with a little bit of adding of Balkan ethno music. Since band is from Subotica, Vojvodina which has strong cultural influences of Serbia, Hungary and Croatia, band decided to do two-language albums. All albums that were recorded in Serbian language also have a version in Hungarian, and it's the only band in Yugoslavia (now-days Serbia) that continued to do that.

Band members (1990):
Tibor Cindrić (Tibor Cindrity) - vocals
Dragan Mijatović - guitars
Robert Sič (Róbert Szűcs) - bass guitars
Rudolf P. Vojnić (Rudolf P. Vojnity) - drums

Band members (1995):
Tibor Cindrić (Tibor Cindrity) - vocals
Dragan Mijatović - guitars
Toni Savevski - solo guitars
Robert Sič (Róbert Szűcs) - bass guitars
Nemanja Stanojević - drums

Band members (2000):
Tibor Cindrić (Tibor Cindrity) - vocals
Vladimir Miletin - guitars
Saša Solga (Szasa Szolga) - guitars
Zoltan Kleno - bass guitars
Atila Tot (Attila Tóth) - drums

Band members (2012):
Tibor Cindrić (Tibor Cindrity) - vocals
Dragan Mijatović - guitars
Darko Mijatović - guitars
Jules Šindeleš - bass guitars
Atila Tot (Attila Tóth) - drums

Albums released:
Olujni Jahač (1990) - released in Yugoslavia (Serbia) by Jugoton
Acélszív (1990) - released in Yugoslavia (Serbia) for Hungarian population by Jugoton
Rockernek születtem (1992) - released in Hungary by Arena Records
Vatra (1995) - released in Serbia
Föld porából születtem (1995) - released in Hungary
Novi svet (2000) - compilation released in Serbia by OneRecords
Könnyek koldusa (2012)- remake of all songs Faust made for Hungarian market, both released and unreleased. It was released by Metal Hammer Hungary and Nail Records Hungary.

Texts are in Serbian and Hungarian.
