Set up the tape for Monday Night Raw but forgot to change the cable channel. Would have had to use Hulu Plus for the condensed version, but thankfully someone uploaded the show on Youtube.

"The Producers" (1968)

Mel Brooks' screwball classic about a down on his luck Broadway producer (Zero Mostel) and an accountant (Gene Wilder) who hatch the perfect get rich quick scheme - mount a new, terrible play that is guaranteed to flop on opening night, and take off to Rio with the investors' money. Unfortunately the plan hits a snag when the show becomes an unexpected hit.

Great performances by Wilder, Mostel, Dick Shawn and Kenneth Mars, plus one of the greatest musical numbers ever filmed - "Springtime For Hitler."

If this flick doesn't make you laugh you are humor impaired. Very Happy

Watched this last night...

As a music fan, you owe it to yourself to watch this and appreciate the way music is/was made.

On PBS, every Sunday night after 10 pm they play a large block of Britcoms. However, I am quite a Anglofile as I have watched Flying Circus, Fawlty Towers, Are You Being Served?, Black Adder, and Red Dwarf so many times I can quote them all day long.

"Diamonds Are Forever"

The last of the two 3 packs of Bond films featuring Sean Connery. Next is Roger Bore, I mean Roger Moore and "Live And Let Die". There are two 3 packs w/ Morre as well, but they don't have the bonus disc for each flick like the Connery sets do.

I've become a bigger fan of the Lethal Weapon series as time has gone on. Huge fan of the second and third ones. Very underrated franchise IMO.

Clearing off some stuff on the DVR

Behind The Music - Twisted Sister & Bad Company

Also checked out For What It's Worth because they were profiling Amoeba L.A..

My girlfriend taped this for me and damn was it ever a good watch (nostalgia not withstanding)

Just watched "Wreck It Ralph" with my kids for what's gotta be the third (or maybe fourth) time now. Still a riot. I think this movie has finally replaced "Cars" as my kids' Numero Uno Favorite Movie.

...which is fine with me cuz I'm terminally sick of both "Cars" movies. Very Happy

Just came back from watching Jurassic Park in 3-D @ Imax. It didn't even need to be in 3-D, but it didn't look bad in it. This movie was made to be watched and heard in the super big screen environment!

The Big Daddy & Hit Girl scenes were the best part and I had to see those scenes again.
