I had it and thought it was a let down. It wasn't my intention to trade a bad CD, but for all the delays and such with the distribution, the anticipation exceeded the result. I was pretty disappointed. But it is far from horrible.

I like it. It's not their best, but it's still Trouble, and still good. They basically combine their later stoner rock sound of "Manic Frustration"and "Plastic Green Head" with a 1970's hard rock approach. A few of the riffs are even reminiscent of some 70's classics. I hear some Zeppelin and Nazareth inspired riffs.

I think the riffs are heavy, but the production isn't. The bass isn't prominant enough, so that low, bottom end is missing.

What's missing from the few cuts I've heard is the DOOM!!

Trouble haven't been a dooooom band since 1987. They've been a stoner rock band since their 1990 self-titled release, and brilliantly so.

There's still some doom on the s/t lp, I was hoping to get a little dose w/this one.

yeah i can definitely agree with that statement. i just knew something was missing while listening to it. the songs are great & well crafted though.

I agree. I still hear a little doom sprinked here and there. I'd say they are just heavy psychadelic rock now with a doom edge.

It's decent but not as excellent as I'd hoped. Then again, after waiting 12 years for a new album, my expectations might have been a little unrealistic.

www.newtrouble.com is reporting that the SMC US release will hopefully be in January.

In more trustworthy Trouble news, the long awaited Trouble Unplugged CD will be shipped in December. The first 100 preorders will be signed by the band.

Check it out!

This is ridiculous! According to blabbermouth the american release is again pushed back from january to febuary. Trouble needs to ditch this lame record label.

Trouble has never had good luck with labels. They should have stayed on Metal Blade.
