Great film!  Lots of good performances in that one.  I really hated Mickey Ward's mother and sisters.

I'm the same person I've always been. I just happen to enjoy a kid's cartoon, nothing different than me liking Spongebob, Fairly Oddparents, Penguins Of Madagascar, Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends, 2 Stupid Dogs, etc.

Right now I am watching:

I'm down with "Santa Claus Conquers the Martians," that's a holiday perennial 'round my house. I even willingly watch the non-MST3K'd version. Laughing very hard I love the peppy theme song ("Hooray for Santy Claus")!!

If there's ever been a movie that's screaming to be remade by Tim Burton (or perhaps Rob Zombie), "SCCTM" is it. Very Happy

I don't think I could handle the movie by itself. Of course, I'm not a sadist for b-movies like you Very Happy.

A what ?  scratch

You might be better off not knowing. Lets just say it's a fandom that can get out of control (like any other). Also just like any other fandom, most people involved are regular people and just a minority of freaks give them a bad reputation.

Wack job grown men whose addiction to "My Little Pony" cartoons leads them to dress in Pony costumes, write erotic "MLP" fan fiction and take part in other, shall we say, unsavory MLP related pastimes.

The term is B-Movie masochist. I'm only harming myself. A B-Movie sadist , on the other hand, would derive enjoyment from inflicting the non-MST3K "Santa Claus" flick on others. Get it right will ya? Laughing very hard

Like I said, a minority of freaks that give a whole fandom a bad name. Most bronies hate that aspect of the fandom. But just like furries and anime freaks, the bad apples spoil the whole bunch.

I learned about them from some articles posted on Reddit. After reading about it for a while I wished that I could scrub that part of my brain with a Brillo pad. Laughing very hard

I can understand that, I have seen some things from that fandom and the furry fandom that would make a gore fan vomit. However, as I can't stress enough, most of those people are in the minority. There's far more clean brony art than any other fandom mentioned.

Finished War Of The Colossal Beast

Good cheesy fun but WTF is up with the last 10 seconds being in color and the rest of the movie in balck and white?

Going to watch:

Was going to watch some more MST3K but I've seen every episode available on Netflix, Youtube, and Amazon Instant Video (back when I was unemployed, I watched a WHOLE lot of that), or the free ones anyway.

Oh god, like the Furries ? Those weirdos have a convention here every summer. Naturally, the news has to cover it and interview these strange people (in costume, naturally).

I'm surprised how well The Millers has turned out. Hopefully this show will continue, usually good shows after Big Bang don't make it past one season.

Yeah I really like the show. Pretty funny and a great cast. J.B Smoove steals the show.

I agree, also Beau Bridges' character is quite a riot as well (though not as much screen time).
