Another one gone! I love the Stooges. I passed up the opportunity to see them at Glastonbury a few years ago because they hadn't played together for so long that I thought that they would be a pale imitation of what they were. Then I saw the performance on TV and was kicking myself because it was one of the most intense things I've ever seen!

Sad! R.I.P.

Sad that both Asheton brothers are gone now.  Though Iggy gets all the attention I've always felt they were the two that made it great.  I saw Iggy play a radio festival show in the 90's, he brought out Scott to perform a mini-Stooges medley.  I about lost it.  It was incredible.  Sadly there were very few others excited about such a cool happening - most were too busy waiting for the Stereo MCs to come on.  Because of that I was able to get right down in front of center stage and love every second of it.  RIP and thanks for the memory of that day.
