I can guarantee you he was referring to the New York Yankees Major League Baseball team; not a generic term for "Americans".  Many people here in the US hate the New York Yankees baseball team; many others love them (though I'll never understand why).

yes - i was referring to the baseball team.

I donīt follow any sports at all. and about practicing, the only thing I "kindda" like and sometimes practice is weight lifting. sometimes I walk. Iīm not good at any sports at all, I really like VolleyBall , but not really good at it.

Weight lifting is interesting, but it does little to nothing about health per se. its just about look, improving your self steam a little , posture , thatīs it. I havenīt lifted weights in many months , but Iīm thinking about starting doing such again.

But Soccer , BasketBall , these donīt exist to me.

That's a misconception.  More and more studies are showing that cardio mixed with weight training is the best way to get/stay in shape.  The reason is that building muscle mass through weight training causes the body to burn more calories when doing cardio.  The last study I saw recommended that average people do cardio 3 days a week and weight training 2 days a week.
