The Hobbit - Battle of the Five Armies - I saw this out of some perverse sense of obligation - a need to play out the string if you will. Craploads of terrible CGI, bad dialog, stupid characters and so many departures from the book that I don't know where to start. So basically it was exactly like the other two Hobbit films. Boo.

Watching the Rams make the Giants look like a playoff team.

How the hell could this defense not allow a touchdown for 12 straight quarters then allow 37 points to the Giants???

Well, those first 2 are good at least.  lol!

In fact, Reanimator is one of my top 10 movies of all time.

Last night I watched the San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl. I love these goofily named, early bowl games. This was actually a very good game that came down to a missed field goal in the last minute and Navy got the win.

Hannibal - Season One. Despite my misgivings about more material based on the Thomas Harris books I have to say this series is truly excellent. Probably the most cinematic show on broadcast TV.

Watching Santa's Slay for the final time this year.

Still my favorite Christmas movie. I find it hilarious.

Luther (BBC) - Season 1

My favorite police detective series of the past 20 years or so.  Highly recommended. Available on Netflix streaming, Amazon Prime and Hulu Plus.

Watching Smackdown.

Oh boy, Hulk Hogan is the opening act and he's still doing the same schtick he's been doing for decades.  BRUTHAAA!!!!!

UPDATE:  And then Seth Rollins showed up and actually said Hogan has no place in the ring anymore.  I love it!

Sun Bowl - Duke vs Arizona State

The remaining bowls are going to have a hard time beating the Bahamas Bowl from the other night.  Western KY had a 49-14 lead in the 4th quarter when Central Michigan finally woke up and scored 5 touchdowns in the 4th quarter.  They ended up scoring the final TD on a series of laterals with no time left on the clock.  Then instead of playing for the 49-49 tie, they went for the 2 point conversion and failed so Central Michigan ended up losing 49-48.  Easily the best bowl game of the year so far...

That Bahamas Bowl was insane!

Sadly, my Cincinnati Bearcats lost to Va Tech today in the Military Bowl. Sad

Watched these last night:

Master and Commander: Far Side of the World
American Hustle

I had already seen both of them and they both are still very good.
