Looks like 4 of the Crowes are now The Magpie Salutes. Song starts at 1:25 the first bit is a tribute to Eddie Harcsh.

Not much of a song IMO. It's not terrible, just sort of "there".

Decent song. I'll check it out.

All these guys need to learn how to rock again. I dig what Chris and Rich Robinson have done in their respective solo bands/projects, but it's all been fairly mellow stuff. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but whole albums of that shit gets old.

That's a good comparison. It sort of reminds me of a harder-edged Grateful Dead but I think Allman Brothers is a better comparison. "Jam band" sort of song.

I think it's the slide guitar and female back-up singers that does it. Not a bad tune, but not sure it's my cup of tea.
