I came across a batch of Samuel Adam's Honey Porter and Pale Ale in the import section at a store today - but since I had already bought so much, I decided to pass - Now I ask you: Are they any good? |

- Well, I purchased a Samuel Adam's Honey Porter and I am amazed - You Americans CAN brew some fine beer! This beer is simply awesome - I can already promise you now, that many of these babies will be sacrificed for my pleasure! |

Not as a general rule, but there are a few good brands over here. Sam Adams is pretty good schlitt. |

| Yeah, for a 'mass-marketed' beer, I think Sam Adams is the best. I drink their light beer quite regularly and it actually still tastes like a beer.
My favorite Sam Adams brew is the Black Lager. That stuff is awesome. |

| wow i havent had an alcoholic beverage in a very long time now. cheap cider was the last £1.79 for 2 litres and it was actually quite good |

Yup, my favorite major American brew. They have yet to sacrifice taste, even though they advertise a lot. When you're done with a Sam Adams, you know and feel that you just had a damn good beer, even as you said, the light one. |

| The local Schlafly's brews are my favorites but at this time of the year, the Sam Adams Light is the most consumed.
I'll be breaking into my cache of Schlafly's Pumpkin Ale during March Madness though (still 10 six packs left from last Fall). |

| Nice surprise when I got to work this AM... on Tuesday I found an error on a sales rep's order that would've proved to be very expensive for her, so she picked up a 6 pack of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale as a "thank you" and left it on my desk... wish it was cold, I'd have one right now

Sierra Nevada Brewing Company makes my favorite American Pale Ale and Summer Wheat. Never been real impressed with Sam Adams but I've liked what I've tried. |
