| I'm quite the fan of European beers nowadays. Tyskie (Poland's finest!), Zyweic (Poland's second finest!), Leffe (...from Belgium I think?) and Hoegaarden (from... Sweden or something?) are favourites. |

VERY GOOD, very differen't, and infact at first, I hated it, but by the end of the glass, I was liking it. They make some killer stuff in Europeanland. |

| Drinking Hoegaarden right now. Its Belgian White Beer (Witbier). Very nice. It has a coriander/orange taste finish to it. Very pleasing and not overly carbonated. I think I'll have 5 more, please. |

| Drinking a Flying Dog Doggie Style Pale Ale right now. In addition to it having an irresistible name, it's damned good stuff. _________________ "Boys, set the terror level at code brown, 'cause I need to change my pants." -- President Hathaway, "Monsters vs. Aliens"

| Pale Ales is where it's at, Spectre. They have a nice hoppy flavor to'em and a little more "punch" than your average beer. Once you go pale ale, you'll never go back. _________________ "Boys, set the terror level at code brown, 'cause I need to change my pants." -- President Hathaway, "Monsters vs. Aliens"

| I will have to try a pale ale next weekend. Right now I'm watching Led Zeppelin The Song Remains The Same (deluxe edition) DVD and I wish I started smoking pot years ago. |

Then Rolling Rock is definatly NOT one. That stuff tasted too watered down. |

| Rolling Rock is a lager, I believe.
Pale ales are OK, but I prefer a darker ale (Brown, Porter, etc..) myself. |

| Hoegaarden is good stuff, so is Leffe. If you like those you should try Chamay white label, another Belgian ale. The Belgians are my favorite right now. |

| Chamay? I'll make a point of looking in to it. I was on the Leffes tonight - it was joyous.
Moving away from Euro-beer, has anyone ever tried Honeydew? It may be an ale as oppossed to a beer (I'm not sure how it works), but it's quite delicious. On the topic of ales, I recently tried Hobgoblin to a friend's recommendation. It was good, but it was almost like a poor man's Guiness. |

Where did you pick that beer up at, FF? Since tonight is Brian's weekly "Beer and Metal DVDs night" I am interested in their porter that they have on their site. |

I found it at a local bar/liquor store by my house. I'm sure if you live near any beer store with a decent selection you should be able to find it. I see it pretty frequently out this way, anyway _________________ "Boys, set the terror level at code brown, 'cause I need to change my pants." -- President Hathaway, "Monsters vs. Aliens"
