| Back in the late eighties when Gwar was real popular with the skaters, a friend of mine insisted I had to see them. They got a lot of press in D.C. (I believe they're from Richmond) and I had some idea what to expect. But nothing could prepare me for how crazy it was. First off, not only were they popular with the skate crowd but also with the local college students. So just the people in attendance made it surreal enough to begin with. Then the concert began.... Not a real big fan of the music, but everyone should experience the live show once. |

| Just read on Blabbermouth that GWAR's finest hour, AMERICA MUST BE DESTROYED, is being re-issued with a bonus DVD that includes both of the accompanying home videos from that album, PHALLUS IN WONDERLAND and TOUR DE SCUM. Sweet! I haven't seen "Wonderland" in ages, it was sick, but funny as hell, stuff. I already have this CD but that bonus DVD may be enough to get me to re-buy. _________________ "Boys, set the terror level at code brown, 'cause I need to change my pants." -- President Hathaway, "Monsters vs. Aliens"

| I love GWAR!!! I must buy some of their discography soon. Also, a quick question, did Lordi take their look from GWAR? |

Lordi claims that they never even heard of GWAR when they first came up with their costumes/gimmicks, but I find that rather hard to believe ... _________________ "Boys, set the terror level at code brown, 'cause I need to change my pants." -- President Hathaway, "Monsters vs. Aliens"

| I thought the same thing. I knew of Lordi first (as the won ESC 2006) but soon I found GWAR. Their outfits are almost exactly the same! |
