I keep seeing their album and have always wanted to know what they sound like. The album makes them look like a throwback 70s rock band.

I read a pretty good review a while ago, then I wanted to check them out but forgot the exact name, just remembered it was Fire-something. I ended up getting Firewind "Alliegance", which is some pretty decent heavy/power.

Thanks for the reminder.lol!

Do you know if any of their albums are digipacks? I'm going to request them on lala, but I always try to avoid requesting digipacks.

Picked up Hot Wings for $5.99 tonight. Gave a few songs a listen on the way to a friend's house for the UFC match. First impression: not a blues rock band. I'd actually say they were simply more of a modern hard rock band with some 70s rock flair, mainly in the guitar tones and structures.

Also, the singer totally sounds like a cross between Whitfield Crane and Vince Neil (his mid-range). Sounds like a cool CD, though. I'll write more when I've given it more spins.
