Any fans of this industrial band? They aren't metal, but they do have a lot of metal elements in their music (distorted guitars, thrash type vocals, fast beats, etc). I love this band. I've been a fan since the early 90s when I discovered their album, "Money" that a friend had.

Anyway - I just picked up their new one last night at Best Buy.

Anyone like this band?

I know the song 'Ultra', which is great. I never got around to checking them out properly however.

Is it true that their initials stand for "Kill Mother F**king Depeche Mode?"

I heard that somewhere years ago and thought it was hilarious

I like KMFDM, don't have much of their stuff. I first heard them in a movie i think the it was called I want to go to hell.

Hell yeah. Great band. KMFDM has work that dates back to the mid-80s which is just as good as their more 'classic' 90s industrial metal stuff.

One of my favorite songs by them is "Godlike" which samples, and repeatedly plays, that awesome riff from Slayer's "Angel of Death." (much like Public Enemy on "She Watch Channel Zero?!")

"A Drug Against War" is another raging techno-industrial thrash number, too..

No, that's just a rumor. KMFDM stands for some German word that is really hard to pronounce in English, so they shortened it.

But it was a big rumor back in the early 90s - thru today that it stands for that.

I was glad when I found it was just a rumor, as I'm a pretty major Depeche Mode fan too.
