Favorite 80's hair metal record.

These choices mean nothing more than what popped into my head.

Shout At The Devil for me. It was one of the albums that got me into metal in a big way.

Shout at the Devil is my pick, with To Hell with the Devil a close second.

Stryper-To Hell with The Devil for sure.It holds so many memories of my teen years.I had just became a christian and was trying to limit the amount of secular stuff I listened to.Of Course that didnt last long.

If only you had put Invasion instead of All Systems Go, it would have been a no-brainer.

I wavered between Stryper and Killer Dwarfs, but the Bumblebees got my vote. :metal:

Skid Row. Shout At The Devil would be a close second, but I like Skid Row's debut a bit more.

LA Guns -S/T. That album is almost a flawless sleaze album. They should have been bigger than GNR.

6. Crazy Nights (I love Kiss, but this was not one of their better records. They were trying too hard to be Bon Jovi)

Almost went with Stryper's TO HELL WITH THE DEVIL but finally picked the L.A. Guns debut. The first L.A. Guns still sounds great today, while certain bits of the Stryper disc haven't aged very well

I'm going with VVI- All Systems Go

Went with the s/t deput of Skid Row, mainly because I never heard the entire track list of the other albums (except Shout At The Devil). Also because 18 & Life, Youth Gone Wild, and I Remember You are three of my favorite songs of all time. In the future I will be getting To Hell With The Devil so it will remain to be seen if I like it more.

I hate the term HAIR METAL but my fave record of the ones you listed is;
POISON:LOOK WHAT THE CAT DRAGGED IN. A great GLAM METAL album.

Skid Row! I have fond memories with that record but i also liked the first LA Guns a lot too.

The first LA Guns is the only good LA Guns, imo.

I like Cocked & Loaded too, but that's as far as I went with them. But really Guns N Roses only has one good album as well and they are "legends".

Okay...I shocked myself a little on this one! I LOVE Stryper, always have, the very first metal I ever heard in gradeschool! However, a very BAD, EVIL cousin of mine had Shout At The Devil - MC??? Which he copied on tape for me...oh I felt like I was a BAD A!@#, A REAL REBEL, Like i was really sneaking and getting away with murder. Okay I was sneaking and listening to it in my closet.

So, I voted Motley Crue.....guilty pleasures revealed!

Theatre of Pain was the first Crue album I ever owned. I stole it, but I owned it just the same.
I had heard Shout before, and dug it.
So I still kinda like Theatre of Pain, but in 85 when I was 10 it was the schizz-nit.
