Quiet Riot - Cum On Feel The Noize (IMHO, way better than the original) or Slick Black Cadillac - I like the metal version better than the 70's version, even though the 70's version did have Randy Rhoades playing guitar

I saw Paul Di'Anno on his own, and technically their not covers as he did have a part in writing them, but his band played ripping versions of Iron Maiden classics.
