| Haha! Great idea for a topic! I used to have a desk calendar with a different "misheard lyric" every day, it was tons o'fun. (Not enough metal songs in it though!) Here's one for Seven Witches, "Metal Tyrant" Actual lyric: He decapitates the night, resilient powers burning bright Misheard lyric: He decapitates the night, Brazilian power burning bright... I swear that's what I thought I heard when I first listened to the CD... and I still sing it that way today even though I know it's wrong.  |

| This one's for all of you hardcore KISS fans. 'Let's Put the X in Sex' off the Smashes, Thrashes, and Hits album: There's a line that goes "you're beggin' for an eyeful, but you'll only get a peek". For quite some I thought the line was, "you're beggin' for apple, but you'll only get a peach". I guess that could still be used as some sort of innuendo lyrics...  |

| AHA, I knew there was a misheard lyric thread round here somewhere...
I was listening to Helloween's MASTER OF THE RINGS album just now, and remembererd that when I first heard the tune "Perfect Gentleman," I thought the line "I am the genuine man" sounded like "I am the John Wayne man," haha!
Andi's accent can be pretty thick at times so I suppose it's an honest mistake.

| Many people mistake the lyrics on "Big Ten Inch Record" by Aerosmith. People often think Tyler is saying "...Suck on my big ten inch" when in fact he is saying "...'cept on my big ten inch".
