I heard it's also very sterile, and has a lot of water in it. |

I know to certain people that sounds ignorant, but I am entitled to my opinion (as are you) and besides why are some people affraid of the word Liberal it's just a word, I don't get offended when someone calls me a conservative (or a Nazi, or a facist, or a gun toting racist nut job). |
No I find it offensive when people throw it at people they don't agree with. Its not a matter of opinion, calling a person a liberal based on disagreement is ignorant.
In fact the people you are describing there by definition are NOT liberal at all. Stop using it for anyone who disagrees with conservatives because in all honestly it sounds really stupid and shortminded.
Liberal does not equal America haters, in fact Liberals founded this country.
I am not persecuting you because of what you beleive in, I have several conservative views as well, as well as many liberal views. I love my country, and I don't want anyone to ever accuse me otherwise because I disagree with who's running it.
That is all I have to say on the matter. |

Not quite a rip-off. And that was actually a pretty cool use of that song, to be honest. |

| i agree he def didnt rip it off as it was just taken right from the cd and used, he sampled it. He had Metallica's consent as well. He also filled in for James for 3 shows because of an injury James had. |

| Most of that album is like that. Sort of a cross between Bob Seger and John Mellancamp. There are only one or two where he goes back to rapping. I really like Kid Rock's last album; part Southern rock, part roots rock. And the song where he melds Werewolves of London and Sweet Home Alabama is genius IMO. And for those who want to cry "ripoff", he does not rip off either song. He gives copyright credit to the original authors of both. |

Was it here or at the boxing forum I post at where someone tried to call him a ripoff for those songs? Can't remember. But yeah, he got permission. |

| Probably both. I know that phrase is bandied about earlier in this thread but it's a common complaint about Kid Rock. But to my knowledge, he's never used something without permission. And melding two disparate songs like Werewolves and Sweet Home into a coherent song like "All Summer Long" is akin to genius IMO. |

Southern rock? John Mellancamp? This guy? Are you sure we're talking about the same guy? |
