| I liked their debut and Wake Me When It's Over. I had Whipped on cassette and didn't care for it. Never upgraded it to cd. I haven't heard that one in years though. I absoutley loved their cover of "You're So Vain". Since then, I know Taime Downe has switched gears musically for awhlie and then came back around to their sleazy roots, but I haven't heard them.
Many moons ago, my buddies band, The Outlaw Pandas (http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=39758862), played our block party and I got up with them to sing "Bathroom Wall". |

| I liked their first album, but never really followed them afterwards.
They were god-awful when I saw them open for KISS on the "Revenge" tour, so that probably didn't help. _________________ "Boys, set the terror level at code brown, 'cause I need to change my pants." -- President Hathaway, "Monsters vs. Aliens"

I never saw them live, but I remember a buddy telling me that he saw them at a small club in Philly (anyone remember The Empire?) and they were terrible live. |

| I could live without em'.Had more success probably than they deserved.I can think of about a 100 or so bands in the same genre who were more deserving or superior to FP. |

| LOVE the Pu$$ycat....
first disc is killer....and "Wake Me..." i really good but needs a few listens to get into as it was a bit different than the debut...
"Whipped" is actually pretty solid considering the turmoil in the industry at that time..
THEN Taime decided he wanted to go goth/industrial (albeit the debut NEWLYDEADS cd is killer!) and things went south from there.....
That last offering being a steaming turd platter....
sigh.... _________________ "Oh man, I need TV? When I got T Rex"

+1, one of my fave songs by them. Like their first 3 albums and also have a japanish mini cd and a couple of their singles/maxis. Still i think that LA GUNS were and are better then FASTER Pu$$ycat. |

| They're a fun Aerosmith raunch driven band, but they were a bit of a 'hollywood tease' to me. Some good songs and potential but ultimately disappointing, much like L.A. Guns. Theres a reason Guns N' Roses broke away from the pack and Faster Pu$$ycat, L.A. Guns and JetBoy became also rans.
There was a band from New York called Mr. Nasty that released an album in 1990 called .38 Caliber Kisses, that beats Faster Pu$$ycat at their own game. In that they sound exactly like them but wrote better songs! Get on it. |

| Heres a promo video of Mr. Nasty back in the day for their song Kandyluv. I don't know why the made the promo for the weakest song on the album. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C_omCdHIIWY Also a live clip of them performing Hardline http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YfQOVDBKYFM&feature=related And Shiney $10 for a CD or 73c for a cassette perhaps? http://www1.gemm.com/c/search.pl?field=ARTIST+OR+TITLE&wild=mr.+nasty&Go%21.x=24&Go%21.y=2 |

| I like the first one. They always remined me of a GnR and Poison mix with a heavy dose of Aerosmith. |

| I liked their first two albums. Didn't care for Whipped. I caught them live a couple of years ago one of Poison's summer tours. The band were horrible and looked like Faster Nazicat. Absolutely terrible! |

| The stuff in the 80's was really good. However since then they have had a major change. The lead singer looks like Marilyn Manson now and is completely androgenous and flamboyant. I seen them live 2 years ago with Bang Tango, and Steve Adlers band. (Joe Leste from Bang Tango) ended up singing since the singer never showed up for Steve. Then Faster Pu$$ycat came on and after about 3 songs I left they was so bad. |

I'm sure the Pu$$ycat guys would find that very appropriate. _________________ "Boys, set the terror level at code brown, 'cause I need to change my pants." -- President Hathaway, "Monsters vs. Aliens"
