| Awesome band saw them live in 76, this is probably my favorite live song. Great lyrics!

| The first three (Blue Oyster Cult, Tyranny & Mvtation and Secret Treaties) are absolute classics and I love that period the best. Following close behind are the Spectres, Cultosaurus Erectus and Fire of Unknown Origin albums. And a latter day classic for me is the Heaven Forbid album. |

Wow! I thought I was the only one who though Imaginos was BOC's masterpiece. I love the music, the concept, the whole thing! _________________ "Don't reenact scenes from 'Platoon' with Charlie Sheen."

I dig Imaginos too - forgot to mention that one. It really wraps up and explains/displays their entire head trip/mythos (a la Sandy Pearlman) in one album!
BITCHEN cover art too!

Indeed, I'm glad it finally got back in print like it deserves to be too, although I bought it years ago. At least now its available to fans.
My top 5 BOC would be: Imaginos, Secret Treaties, S/T, Tyranny & Mutation, Agents Of Fortune
I like all of their albums, but I've always felt both Mirrors, and The Revolution By Night were a bit of a step in the wrong direction |

Actually, I quite like both of those albums; although I realize they are more commercially oriented.
The BOC albums I really don't care for are Club Ninja and Cultasaurus Erectus. But both have their moments. _________________ "Don't reenact scenes from 'Platoon' with Charlie Sheen."

| Secret Treaties is my fav album, and their cover of Tattoo Vampire on Agents Of Fortune is my fav song. Cultosaurus Erectus is a great album as well. Love their outside lyrical contributions by Patti Smith and Sandy Pearlman. |

| Anyone have the cd when they were called The Stalk-Forrest group? Their last cd called The Curse Of The Hidden Mirror was actually taken from that. There was a song on there called that! It is quite rare now. Ok how about DVD's? Anyone have BOC 1976 or A Longs Days Night. The song Last Days Of May is totally awesome on that DVD. I got to see them in 1976 on thier "On Your Feet Or On Your Knees" tour was amazing the lazer light show! Wargod48 |

Cultosaurus Erectus is my favorite. It's one of their heavier platters, and isnt' plagued with radio singles that have been overplayed. Plus it has that nifty little guy on the cover. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| BOC is one band I've always meant to delve further into but have never really gotten round to it. They have an immense catalog but all I have by them is the FIRE OF UNKNOWN ORIGIN album ("Joan Crawford has risen from the graaaaaave!" haha!) and a cheapie best-of compilation called SUPER HITS. I should explore them further because I dig both discs. _________________ "Boys, set the terror level at code brown, 'cause I need to change my pants." -- President Hathaway, "Monsters vs. Aliens"

| My first exposure was a live concert on 98.5 KOME in 1981/82 touring behind 'Fire of Unknown Origin' I remember taping it and listening to it over and over... I have 'Extraterrestial Live', a double best of 'Workshop of the Telescopes'.... and 'Cult Classic'.... It was a re-recording of some of their earlier material, done fairly well... I've always loved ETI... that riff kills... and I've always enjoyed the live version best... fantastic... |

| I love BOC! I saw them live for the first time last summer for free at our local state fair, it was great; I'll post some pics if anyone likes? I even have their logo Kronos, tattooed on my inner forearm. My favorite album is Fire of Unknown Origin and Spectres. I only have one DVD by them and that is the one that came with the remastered version of Some Enchanted Evening, which is awesome. |

| I seen them at Sturgis a few years back and they brought it... Back in the 70's and 80's, the shows I saw were hit and miss. Great musicians who kinda flew under the "hero" lists but Albert Bouchard is a stellar drummer. He played very unique (IMO) and was a great songwriter as well. Latrz |

I like this band...I'm not overly familiar with their work....
I only own one cd "Fire Of Unknown Origin"
I always heard they got heavy but really only know them from the radio staples...
