Metro-sexual guys that need to know what music to put on their ipod when they're hitting on the 15-year old server at Starbucks.

The sad thing is, you know Maxim isn't the only magazine to do this. They simply got caught.

Sounds like a guilty conscience. You wouldn't do something like that, would you Eyesore?

Nooo! Haha. Seriously, no way. Bands actually thank me for my reviews, saying that by reading them they know I've listened to the album. Not kidding. That's how many reviewers out there write up horrible reviews.

It's a common thing, go to the metal archives if you want an example. Alot of them don't listen to the album, just get the sogn titles and base it on word of mouth.

Pretty much any review where the reviewer doesn't mention a single song specifically is a load of crap.

Pretty pathetic i would say.

You don't need to do much to p*ss Mistah Robinson off particuarly when the critical media (oxymoron in Maxim's case) is involved.

I haven't listened to the new Black Crowes album and i know i'm going to love it.

Gotta agree here. I'm glad I finally got into them...last year! Haha. Seriously, though. I'm very impressed. Too bad I missed out all those years before.

That's really weird Eyesore cause they must of been probably one of the biggest bands in the early to mid 90's.

Maxim has album reviews?? Shocked Shocked Shocked

I had no idea. Any time I flip thru it at the barber shop I'm lookin at the semi-nekkid celebrity chick pictorials. You mean, there's actually stuff to READ in that mag?? Wow, ya learn something new every day.

They were. I explained a bit of why I never listened to them before here:

Playboy does some pretty decent interviews too. Not that anyone would notice.

Pfft... Playboy. I always preferred Hustler back in the day. Gotta love that "Beaver Hunt" section!!! Laughing
