Anyone into Apocrypha? I have Area 54, and am giving it another listen. I mostly like it, but it borders on stuff I dislike here and there.

They are somewhat a mid-paced thrash band. They have power and classic metal tendencies as well. Quite good, IMO. Area 54 is my favorite of theirs.

The guitarist, Tony Fredianelli, also has an album out called Breakneck Speed. Don't know much about it.

Apocrypha is pretty basic & nothing fancy, but still pretty good all things considered. just no frills.

Yeah, pretty good summary for me. I just tend to want to keep my collection somewhat lean (yeah right) and sometimes albums in that category get the axe. I get easily annoyed at the time wasten by metal I dislike.

Buit I think I like Area 54 enough to keep it.

Tony Fredianelli CD "Breakneck Speed" is brilliant.

I have the Apocrypha album "The Forgotten Scroll" on LP and it's decent in my opinoon, nothing groundbreaking but enjoyable all the same.

These guys are awesome! They are from here in Vegas. The singer is in a cover band here in town called Highwire. Mega cool dude and a pretty good cover band. They do all metal covers so its cool to hear.

I have The Eyes of Time that I picked up a few years ago in a little comic book shop that had some cds for sale. I'd agree with the general opinion that they're decent, but nothing mind-altering.
