| This album contains my favorite Dickinson-era Maiden song: "The Clairvoyant". From the great bass introduction...to that killer melody line, a true mini-masterpiece. When I first got that album on vinyl I played that one track over and over and over... I really like the entire album. It's a few notches below Somewhere In Time, but they work great together. This was the last true "classic" Maiden album in my opinion. |

| Having given this CD a couple listens recently, I am amazed at how I wrote it off as a disappointment. This is truly one of the greatest metal albums ever. |

| This definitely ranks up there...their last classic, for sure. My favorite still remains Piece of Mind, though. |

| Excellent album, and the last few months pulled this album out of the archieves and it has been receiving regular spins, for years I always stated that 'Somewhere In Time' was the last classic Maiden album, but I have to revise my opinion and state 'Seventh Son...' is the last classic Maiden platter. |

| I love Seventh Son but it's not their last classic. So they changed somewhat and don't play that galloping sound as much. An album like AMOLAD is still awesome. |

| Haven't listened to this one in awhile... may have to dust it off again soon after reading everyones' commentaries on it. Played the hell out of it back in the day though. Love "Moonchild," "The Evil that Men Do" and "The Clairvoyant" especially. _________________ "God's the ultimate playa, so naturally He's going to have some haters," rapper Ice Cube said. AMOLAD is definitely a good album, and Maiden still kick major ass. They have constantly released great stuff. But, my favorite material still dates from SSOASS and back. |

| I got my SEVENTH SON disc with me today for worktime spinnage... now that I'm thinkin' about it, I'd say it's about to go into the on-deck circle :metal: _________________ "God's the ultimate playa, so naturally He's going to have some haters," rapper Ice Cube said. | I like this album a lot. Mid 80's Maiden was my favorite by far... 1. Somewhere in Time (my favorite Maiden to this day) 2. Seventh Son... 3. Powerslave 4. Piece of Mind |

One of my favourite Maiden tracks, too. My favourite off the album, for sure. |

Yes, thank you. When I say that I usually get that, oh it's good but not even close to their best, response. |
