Venom was one of the first bands I got into as a kid. I guess that's why I love them. They always appealed to me. Not because of the satanic stuff, I never paid any mind to that. I just love the raw energy they portrayed. It's refreshing.

Well back in the day Venom was a big deal, for those of us that weren't wearing diapers at the time (i.e. anyone that is now 45 or older). Just as big a deal as Slayer for a little while.
