  1. Black Sabbath - Tony Immoi's factory accident was a gift from God.
  2. Iron Maiden - Helped usher in NWOBHM.
  3. Metallica - Sure they made St. Anger, but their first five albums are pure gold.
  4. Judas Priest - They have one of the greatest singers and guitar teams in metal.
  5. Van Halen - Not really as heavy as a Priest or Maiden, but Eddie Van Halen is probably the most influential guitarist of the past 35 years.

Ya, true, Eddie was one of the greatest guitarists ever. But Van Halen soon became hair metal down the line. Therefore, they are not on this poll. But it's not that I hate Hair bands, just some of them (Poison). :metal:
To tell you the truth guys, I'm a little shocked more people haven't voted Motorhead. Oh well.

If Phil Anselmo would have went to sing for Korn when my guitar hero Dimebag (RIP, MY METAL BROTHA!!!!!) went bye-bye, it would have been the greatest day evah!
