| Once one of the best bands out there, now just a horrible one, although their last effort wasn't bad at all. Which is your favorite Sepultura album?

| First off, it's Sepultura, not Sepultua.
Beneath the Remains is their best album, and one of the greatest metal albums ever! |

However, I really dig the tribal feel of Chaos A.D., so I voted for it. It was a very unique album when it was released. I also LOVE the title track to "Roots". A brutal song!

| CHAOS A.D. for me... although BENEATH THE REMAINS and ARISE are cool as well...I just realized that I still have all three of those on cassette, not on CD... high time I do some upgradin'! :)
I saw Sepultura twice during the late 80s (BENEATH THE REMAINS era) and they were an absolutely LETHAL live band back then as well!! |

| Arise easily. The title cut put my jaw on the floor when I heard it not long after it was released.
I like Schizophrenia through Chaos AD. After that, they completely lost me...

| Chaos, followed by Roots and then Arise. Beneath the Remains is pretty good, and I think Roorback is decent.

| Beneath The Remains for me.
Back when Morbid Visions came out I bought it. I thought the cover was cool. All the guys in the band hated it but I thought it was primitively cool in its rawness. Then one day a friend drops by with Beneath The Remains and everyone was like....ewwww Sepultura...those guys suck, Daniel has one of their tapes. Then he popped it in.....and everyone's jaws hit the rehearsal room floor! Needless to say everyone was now hooked into Sepultura!
For me Beneath was their best album. Arise was pretty good and I really liked Schizophrenia as well. |

| I really lost interest in this band after "Against" for some reason. I just have no desire to listen to their new music.

| Chaos AD! The album is just brutal and very unique. I think that album set them apart from the death metal crowd, but I wish they'd stuck with that style for longer. Roots is a great album, too, but even that one was quite a step away from Chaos AD. Then after that you know what happened. I actually only own Against, and while I don't think it's horrible like many claim, it's simply not anything special. From what I've heard of the others, they all seem to be of a similar state. |
