| Both are good, but Powerslave is in my opinion a bit better. |

| I definitely have to go with "Master of Puppets". Nothing against "Powerslave", because it's a great album... I just don't think it's on the same level. |

| I like Maiden as a band more than I like Metallica; but, I like Master of Puppets more than Powerslave because: 1.

3. "Losfer Words (Big 'Orra)" [instrumental] (4:15)
4. "Flash of the Blade" (4:05)
5. "The Duelists" (6:18)
6. "Back in the Village" (5:02)
...and I am happy again.
7. "Powerslave" (7:12) :metal:
8. "Rime of the Ancient Mariner" (13:45) :metal: I had prepared a pie chart but I ate it.  |

the middle three tracks always never did it as much for me as the rest of the album but i still like it a lot |

| song for song.... between these two lps....I choose "Puppets"
band for band....well Maiden had a string of 8 exceptional lps from the debut S/T through Somewhere In Time and "Tallica had merely 3 (maybe 4) from Kill Em All to Puppets. Just my old guy opinion. |

Although I like MoP plenty, I find myself thinking those thoughts when I listen to it. It's good, but something's off for me just slightly. I've never been able to put a finger on it, either. |

| puppets for sure, I think it is a more influencial album and therefore more deserving of praise then powerslave is. Not that that has anything to do with my personal preference but even still. |
