I'll agree with you. Mafia is my favorite, though I love them all. I hope the debut gets a remix at some point, though. It's way too bottom heavy at times.

Like 'em all, but voted for Stronger... it was the 1st BLS I purchased and tends to get the most spins, however, it's been awhile since I've played any BLS. After seeing them live, the show was so lame and boring, I've had a hard time listening to the cd's without bringing up the bad memories. One of the worst live shows I've ever seen. So disappointing.

I recall typing this story out elswhere. I'll save you the time and just go with the Cliff notes version. Went with 4 buddies. Pre-gamed in the parking lot, totally pumped up for what we thought would be a crazy, "wylde" concert. Band comes out, Zakk playes a good 6 or 7 songs before stopping once to talk to the crowd. When he does, it's something very generic like "Hey Philadelphia". Goes back to playing. No extended jams, no entertaining banter, no drunken debauchery or ranting from Zakk, no cool cover tunes, nothing. Just music. Zakk barely talks to the audience the entire night. The songs themselves were ok, but sounded pretty much exactly like you'd hear if you popped in a cd. After the show was over, the 5 of us (all big fans) were sitting in a diner, looking at each other and saying, "Wow. That was really boring". We didn't expect to see a KISS-style pyrotechnics display or anything, but if you're gonna see a live performance, you'd better make it worth while.

Who know what was Zakk's problem that night and I'm guessing that's not the norm, but I can't help but think of that night's performance when I hear BLS and it somehow taints the music.

Ah, that sucks. Definitely seems out of the norm. I think he had marital issues a while back, maybe that's when you saw him? That's too bad. You should check them out again sometime, maybe a rockin' performance will change your mind about the albums?
