| It's classic US heavy/power metal. I think that this was their only album, from 1989, but I don't know if it was ever even released on a CD. (it is included in this guy's CD collection but I know that he always rips his vinyl albums to CD-R, so I don't know if he means original CD or just a rip from original vinyl - http://www.metalchamber.com/collection.asp?alpha=S) Vocals are a bit like old Hansi (Blind Guardian), and one guy said that the vocals reminds him on Johan Langquist (don't know as I really don't know much Candlemass material). The Goblins' Breed is well-above average album, although it has some weak moments (song Dream of Love which is total commercial crap ). Anyway, a fine example of classic US metal! The LPs sells for cca 30 euros. |

| I've traded with that guy who's site you listed. If he ripped it from cassette or vinyl, he'll put a * out beside the title to indicate it came from a non-digital source. _________________ What a strange, strange freedom. Only free to choose my chains.

| I can't believe I found this CD for $5.99. I love used bins! :metal: I'm on the fence on whether I should keep it or not. The guy's voice is really odd when he sings in that clean tone. There's some really great tunes on it, though. |

That's the funny thing about eBay. It's totally unpredictable. Keith Caputo (Life Of Agony) did this one-off project with a band called Freax. Some drama went down after the album was recorded where the drummer was ripping fans off, so the album kind of disappeared and no one ever got it. I don't know what the real deal was, I sent my $12 and got the CD, so whatever. It was still rare, though, that part was true. Anyway, I was in Boston one day and saw a few copies in the used bin under F. They were $6. I picked one up, threw it up on eBay. That thing sold for $135! I said, "Damn! I'm picking up that other copy!" So I bought the other copy, threw it up on eBay a week later. It sold for $27. |

Yah, I think the longer it takes between listings, the higher the prices are. If an album only shows up every year or so, it pretty consistently goes for a higher price. _________________ What a strange, strange freedom. Only free to choose my chains.
