Good to see someone knows the truth

The first Maiden album is indeed a good debut, but I don't think it's even in the same league as the first Black Sabbath album.

Again, that's just my opinion...but I would rank the debut Sabbath album in the top 5 best albums hard rock/metal albums of all time.

I voted for Sabbath based on the fact that it is one of the most monumental albums in heavy metal.

I love Iron Maiden, the debut album by Iron Maiden is excellent but
Black Sabbath's first album is the album that would make a band like
Iron Maiden possible.

And the reason i voted for Maiden is that even though i like Sabbath more overall especially their next album Paranoid on... i like Maiden's debut a little more and now i'm also glad i was one of the few to vote for them too. I know the first Sabbath album is considered the first real metal record but that doesn't make it better it just makes it a historical album.
