| Something wild is indeed a great debut, but I think Hatebreeder is the best...not much of a fan though. I'll dig em out when I'm in the mood. _________________ |

| Not a huge fan. I own a few CDs and saw them live once. However, I am not familiar enough with their material to even cast a proper vote. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| I personally think I would like this band a whole lot more if they would get a good vocalist. The drab death metal vocals are what turns me off to this band. It's not that I hate all death metal vocals. It almost seems as if they just don't fit Children of Bodom. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| I don't know, I've never had a problem with Bodom's vocals. I know that technically they're not great, but on Hatebreeder and Follow the Reaper I think they work well. Then Alexi's voice changed a bit on Hate Crew Deathroll, becoming a bit more thrashy... which works well with a lot of the songs, but I definitely don't like it quite as much. |

| I saw them open for Fear Factory and Lamb Of God once, didnt particularly care for them, so I never bothered to pick up a full album. |

| Follow the Reaper. Hands down. The guitar solo after the mad double bass bit always gives me goosebumps and makes me skip back. It's also the strongest mix of the Bodom albums. Though I like Blooddrunk and AYDY, they don't sound as good loud. Though... the kick drum is amazing. Kudos to that.
Something Wild was a decent start. A bit skitzo in my opinion. And SHORT.
Still need Hatebreeder! Grrrr. Never found it used!

Thats my problem as well. The vocals get too monotonous but the music is pretty damn good. Maybe if he'd throw in some clean vocals I'd be more prone to buy their albums. I do like Fear The Reaper, but I don't listen to it that often. |

I agree, Alex what's his name is a better than average guitartist, but his vocals are the weak link to the music, but the guy has played some of the most imaginative soloing I have heard in years. I am sure when I get around to buying one of their albums after a few spins I am sure the vocals will no longer be an issue with me. |
