| Avenged Sevenfold sucks out loud.
And Journey IS a great band, not THE best, but definately good. And besides, it says ROCK bands not METAL. Dont really understand the issue you have with it. |

| OK, I'll be the odd man out.
Journey freakin' makes me puke. Steve Perry's vocals have the testosterone level of Boy George. Damn ballad queens!
And I like some Avenged Sevenfold; especially the City Of Evil album. But they wouldn't be in my top 50 bands.
Journey would however be in my bottom 50.

| That's one of the dumber top ten lists I've seen....
Nothing against Journey, they are pop-rock played to perfection (along with Foreigner) and definitely influenced alot of bands. But best band ever?

| I've never been a big Journey fan and I don't get what all the whoop de doo is about Avenged Sevenfold either. So I guess I have absolutely nothing to contribute to this discussion. Sorry, I'll move on now.

| The thing to remember with these lists are that they are subjective to the person writing the article. They will put their favorite band(s) in the list even if most of the rest of the world disagrees with them; and it's not like their editor is really going to argue against the inclusion of a particular band or ask for facts to back it up. | This list blows but these lists are usually created to prompt discussion and agruments, letters to the editors, etc. It looked it worked. |
