In case people are not aware, Bloodgood with Oz Fox are talking of making a new record. It may be only released as downloads, but they are writing and putting together songs...

Well, I'd like to hear some new Bloodgood, but I am not interested in an album for download only. Same with the new Teramaze compilation. If music comes to this, I'll stick to the music I already have. Downloading sucks!

They probably think that they don't have many fans to support them for a new album.

They may make a limited 1,000 unit pressing...I think they'll see enough demand for at least that...

UNLESS:

They own thier own studio/recording equipment and are planning to give the songs away for free...

This tidbit wasted posted as a comment over on firestream. Does anyone know if this guy has some kind of inside info?

I imagine that Michael Bloodgood is disappointed over his solo sales.

There are so many rumors of possible new albums by older groups I can't keep up. Once something is released let me know.

No. I don't know, but I did see Bloodgood about a year ago and they also announced there that they were working on a new CD. So who knows when (and if) this will actually happen.

i kinda doubt anything will come out of this anyways. It seems its the in thing to do for older Christian metal bands to do is talk of reforming. The few I put stock in are Believer and X Sinner (although maybe not quite a reform there)

I'm with ult - I want bands to at least release a limited edition hard copy. Download only albums don't sit right with me. I would have bought a hard copy of the Teramaze compilation were one available.

There's been so many reunions announced and plans for new albums, but so far we've seen very little. I really hope the announcements of some bands weren't just made in a moment of euphoria. I would definitely buy a new Bloodgood album but I won't be holding my breath for it.

I have a few Bloodgood CDs the live ones and Out of the Darkness and i really dig them. Back in the day I wasnt big on Bloodgood but theyve grown on me. Ive not heard the new stuff but i bet id dig that too and with a great guitarist like Oz as Johnny Bravo would say Whoa Momma
