Twisted Sister-Stay Hungry 25th Anniversary 2009 rerelease

according to the twisted sister website atlantic records will remaster stay hungry next year (2009) for its 25th anniversary. on top of that there will also be a 2nd disc containing unreleased demo's and outtakes from the stay hungry sessions. over 15 unreleased songs will be made available for the first time. this is on top of the brand new studio album twisted sister will release in 2009. stay hungry has sold close to 4 milion copies in the united states alone and still averages sales between 60k and 75k a year

About time they remastered the original album instead of just rerecording the damn thing.

Im looking forward to new album too.

I like quite a few of the songs on COME OUT AND PLAY myself, didnt even like Out On The Streets or the title track eh MC?

They never should have redone Leader of the Pack. It was cool when the did it on their Ruff Cutts EP, but it just didn't feel right to bring it back as a single years later.

I despise Come out and play, but ironically the only song I like is "Be chrool..." Very Happy

You people are nuts. Come Out...has some of their best songs such as The Fire Still Burns and Kill or Be Killed. Sadly that album is always remembered for the cartoonish songs.

I think the cartoonish songs are the best from that one. The heavier ones like 'The Fire still burns' just seem like they were trying too hard.

" Come Out and Play" has some good songs on it, I actually spun it last week and enjoyed it, but the production kills it for me. It is too perfect and too sterile sounding. This album was produced and tailor made for American radio, where " Stay Hungry" wasn't as calculated.

I will definitely be buying this. Not only for the unreleased stuff, but it'll be nice to hear the album with an audio boost. The original CD is pretty damn quiet.
