| Priest.
Maiden are a classic and legendary band, but I agree that they're overrated. Some of their stuff bores me or just sounds too similar. |

| Maiden is definately higher on my favorites, BUT for overall consistencey and better song quality more often than not, I went with Priest |

|  I love both bands and it was hard to choose, but I choose Judas Priest, ask me again next week and it may change to Iron Maiden, both bands rule. |

| If you asked me this question in 1985 I would have answered Iron Maiden in a heartbeat...
...but 20+ years later in 2008, it's Judas Priest.
I really hate comparing these two bands, but there's almost no way to avoid it. Iron Maiden is an incredible band, but in the end Priest has to get the nod for songwriting chops. |
