| I started a thread like this earlier, but to answer its all about west coast scene in my opinion.
You just cant beat bands like Vengeance Rising, Vio-lence, Attitude Adjustment, Exodus, etc. I think the reason I think this way is because I live in Oregon which is closer and I'm more connected to that scene I guess...the punk attitude is more evident with west coast also IMO. _________________  |

| Grew up on the East Coast in the 80's. Saw bands like Anthrax, Heathens Rage, etc. in their club days. Bands like Anthrax. S.O.D & Overkill are some of my favorites. Gotta go with my East Coast boyz.

| The Bay area is the best for me. As much as I love Anthrax and Overkill, my second favorite thrash scene is Germany. Paradox, Vendetta, Kreator, etc. |

| I can't pick. West Coast seemed to churn out more meaty sounds, and the east seemed to have thinner sounds but more sneer. They're all nice, well-behaved boys, so it's hard for me to decide. |

| I've got to go with the West Coast as well. I respect those bands from the East Coast, especially Anthrax and Over Kill, but just too much muscle in that of Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Exodus, Death Angel, and Flotsam & Jetsam (Phoenix/close enough) |
