Bah! I got this album last week as a promo, didn't mention it because I didn't know if it had leaked or not. Apparently it has.

And yes, the album is outstanding! Much heavier than I expected. Lowe's vocals are superb, as always.

i am listening to it now... fantastic! i like how Rob is singing more aggressively than he did on SA's Alone album. it fits Candlemass's style better than is softer more melodic approach.

not to say he still isn't melodic.

I am looking forward to hearing this ! It's a shame about Messiah, but
I'm not going to write Candlemass off becuase of his departure.

I checked the promo, but for some reason it wont click with me. I constantly imagined what it would have sounded with Messiah and this wiped off the listening pleasure instantly...

Dont get me wrong, Lowe is a great singer, but no one can fill Messiah's shoes for me, so its my loss for not getting into this album I guess...

Robert destroys Messiah's vocals with ease.

It'll take a lot to convince me Lowe is better in Candlemass than Messiah was.

I love Messiah's work both in Candlemass and Memento Mori.

Never heard any SA that I thought sounded better than average.

I'll give the new album a shot but I doubt it'll be that good. This is the only board I have seen that is raving about how good it is.

ToB, I've not seen ANY board NOT raving about how awesome the new album with Robert is.
I still say that Messiah sounds like a rabid billy goat when his sings. The dude is good, but he's waaaaay overrated IMO.
