| I just thought of a new game where we pick two metal bands that are not too different from each other from a year that had a release from both bands. The first band to gather a total of 10 votes wins and then the last to vote for the winning band picks a new pairing.
I'll pick the first pair...

The Dark-1
The Dark is good, but Peace Sells is one of the albums that define thrash. As important as any other album you can name in the genre. |

| Megadeth - 6 Metal Church - 1 I was so disappointed with The Dark when it was released, I've never gotten over it. It also doesn't help that one of the songs has the line "I'm Shakin' & I'm Thinkin'"...which when Wayne pronounces it comes out as "I'm a chicken on a mission".  _________________  |

I can understand this. The Dark was my first Metal Church album. I always read about the band in the magazines, but never heard them until "Watch The Children...". In retrospect, The Dark pales in comparison to the debut, but it holds a strong connection with me. |

I know the debut is better but i had to pair albums from the same year. If i went with 1984 like the debut then it would've been against Ride the Lightning. |
