Rattpoison, I just read about the band Buffalo in a book titled 'Ye Olde Metal' written by Martin Popoff but thanks to your link I finally got to hear themn for myself and I liked what I heard. Actually I am not sure if it was Buffalo or Bloodrock I listened to on that lost 70's metal thread, crap I am not sure I am going have to go back to that thread.

I listened to alot of bands on that 70's metal bands thread, I like most of what I have heard so far,

There's a connection between Buffalo and Rose Tattoo.....Buffalo's bassist Pete Wells went on to form Rose Tattoo and was their Guitarist. His guitar playing and in particular his slide playing was praised by Billy Gibbons, Slash, Keith Richards etc. One of most the underrated (unknown) guitarists ever imo. Also the bass player of Rose Tattoo, Ian Rilen went on to form the great X another band i think we talked about not long ago.

All three bands are worthy of your attention......and wallet!

That is high praise if Billy Gibbons and Slash are praising your slide playing, well I am going to investigate further and see if I can find where my wife hid the credit card.

I'll take a crack at this. Lemme see...

1. Gn'R - Appetite for Destruction
2. Metallica - Master of Puppets
3. Megadeth - So Far, So Good, So What
4. Anthrax - State of Euphoria
5. Aerosmith - Toys in the Attic
6. Ozzy - Blizzard of Oz
7. Motorhead - No Remorse
8. Megadeth - Peace Sells

All of these albums played a crucial part into my introduction to heavy metal when I was but a wee lad.
