| I thought it would be a bit different to pit a known band against a underground band this time. And since TOB is a (elitist) i had to pick a band that had technical chops... Annihilator 3 Temple of Blood 0 |

| I'm comparing Annihilator while TOB has been around, you can't have them compete against Annihilator's entire catalogue, so........
Annihilator 3 Temple of Blood 1 |

| I'll still go with my choice. Alice In Hell is good, but not the band's best. |

| IMO, either Never Neverland or Criteria For A Black Widow. |

| Can't vote cuz I'm unfamiliar with the Temple of Blood album... but this matchup seems kinda unfair. ToB are a fairly new band, whilst Annihilator has been around forever. _________________ "Boys, set the terror level at code brown, 'cause I need to change my pants." -- President Hathaway, "Monsters vs. Aliens"

We're going on the particular albums not their catalogs. It's not all that unfair because Annihilator has weakness... their lyrics. |

| I don't think it's that unfair, because Alice in Hell was also from Annihilator's underground days - It's their debut! "Overlord" is not TOB's debut. I say it's fair. |

| I've never heard any Temple Of Blood, but Annihilator is one of my favorites. So I would go with them. By the way, I'd have to say either Never Neverland or Refresh The Demon is my favorite release. |

| That ANNIHILATOR album is excellent. If people prefer our disc, that's great ... if not, that's OK too. I don't believe we have made our masterpiece yet although I am proud of what we have accomplished so far. Kinda funny this came up because I was toying with the idea of getting Jeff Waters to mix and master our next release. |

| Wow! This is a bit of an unbalanced comparison IMO. Perhaps the styles are not all that different, but people on this board are generally familiar with Annihilator, while most are just discovering Temple of Blood. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| Yeah, it doesn't seem like someone should vote unless they have actually listened to both albums in question all the way through. |

Nah, we have some really good soloists lined up for our next recording. We may be getting a new guitarist who is also amazing. If he can make our album's production sound like "Alice in Hell" then I will be very pleased! |

He's not. The "other guy" is me, who will be focusing exclusively on songwriting and vocals and will likely not playing any solos on the next disc. I've found a guitarist who plays amazing and it will allow me to focus on only 1000 things instead of 1001. Also, another note about this thread. In our first years as a band, we always used to cover "Alice in Hell". It was a fun song and the other guitarist and I were always really influenced by ANNIHILATOR. We wanted to cover "Road to Ruin" too but never got around to it, we decided to focus more on original material. |
