| Jeff Waters.
They are both good, but until Mustaine writes something as interesting as "Imperiled Eyes", Waters will always beat him out. |

| Voted for Waters - He was always a more interesting guitarist, and I like his style and writing better. |

| I like Megadeth's music better but Jeff Waters is a monster a guitar and Mustaine has nowhere near that skill level. |

| Dave cuz he's my fave. But Jeff is a better lead player and Dave is a better rhythm player. |

| Jeff Waters, though I prefer Megadeth as a band. |

| I voted for Dave because he has pretty hair. I'm partial to redheads. _________________ A legend in posting since February 1st, 2007

Jeff has him beat at that as well. If you really compare it's obvious that Jeff has the tightest and fastest thrash picking in metal. |

| I voted for Dave 'cause I've listened to Megadeth a lot longer than Annihilator. I think that some of Mustaine's work is just too spectacular to beat. Hard choice to pick though, as they're both awesome guitar players. |

He does have a tight, fast approach to his rhythm playing but Dave is more creative and I'd like to see Jeff play and sing Kick The Chair at the same time. |

| Jeff is better technically, but I've always liked Mustaine's style. Went with Dave |

| Went with Mustaine. Jeff's better technically, but I like Megadeth better, and find Dave's playing more memorable. |

How? Listen to anything off of Never, Neverland... Jeff is probably one of the most creative players in any style of music. Check out the middle part on the song W.T.Y.D. from Alison Hell. |

| Some of these answers have nothing to do with the question. I asked who is a better player not who has better hair or who has a better band... |

Fine. Mustaine. I'm not a musician, so how can I fairly judge who is technically a better player? They're both talented, but I'm more familiar with Dave's work than I am with Jeff. _________________ A legend in posting since February 1st, 2007

I'm very familiar with all of Jeff's and Dave's work, and yes you're right Jeff is one of the most creative players in any style of music but...maybe it's cause I'm a Mustaine/Megadeth fanboy. |

You don't have to be a musician. Before i started playing guitar i already knew that Alex Skolnick was better than Kirk Hammett etc... Just judge with your ears. |

Not in the early days, he ripped it up on Kill 'Em All and RTL. |
